By this time, we have filed second Charge-Sheet in the learned Court of Faridkot in the Kotkapura firing incident. We also obtained Prosecution sanction from the Government of Punjab (Department of Home Affairs & Justice) and submitted the same before the learned Court alongwith the Charge-Sheet. First Chapter of the investigation concludes at this stage and the next Chapter starts -------.
We have seen many discussions about the Charge-Sheet filed in the learned Court of Faridkot; in Kotkapura firing case.
As regards the legality and admissibility of the charge-Sheet, every fact and fact-in-issue has been adequately substantiated with the direct evidence, circumstantial evidence and/or digital evidence. Therefore, I stand by each and every sentence of this Charge-Sheet, and I am readily available for every citizen for any kind of query or clarification in this regard. As regards to the quality of the Charge-Sheet, we can only say that this Charge-Sheet is of international standard and; not very common in India. We can see such Charge-Sheets in the USA and UK and in some cases in France and Germany also.
As regards to the date 23 May/27 May; I can only say that the Charge-Sheet has no connection with any date in any manner.
As regards to the communication (letter) dated 05 April from the ECI (Election Commission of India), we have shown utmost respect and honour for this Constitutional Institution.
It was our endeavor to maintain sanctity and confidentiality of the Charge-Sheet; before it was presented in the learned Court; in the larger interest of justice. We successfully presented this Charge-Sheet before the learned Court without any kind of leakage; as we had past experience of leakage of the Report of the Commission of Inquiry (Commonly known as Justice Ranjit Singh Commission Report).
We did our best to keep the sanctity and professionalism of an impartial and fair investigation. In the entire process, we adopted the path of “Shubh karman te kabahun na taron”, which seems to be difficult but not impossible.
We followed, in this process, the Indian Jurisprudence which has nicely been enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, “ Santa manau duta danau, ih kutvari meri.” ”
