New Delhi: Bhagwant Mann had an important meeting with Union Food Minister Prahilad Joshi in Delhi. During this time, many important issues related to Punjab including the demands of Aartis were discussed in detail. Meanwhile, the center kept important issues like immediate removal of 155 lakh metric tonnes of wheat and rice found in Punjab and immediate payment of RDF's arrears of Rs 9000 crore. Along with this, it was also demanded to consider the demands related to the higher interest cuts to the provinces on the Cash Credit limit on the basis of initiative. Also, the market appealed for immediate resolution of the EPF issue of the labourers and demanded for compensation to farmers for damages caused by unseasonal rains. I am happy that the Union Minister has received a very yes-sided response on all these issues. We are constantly striving to protect the interests of Punjab.
